Two years between What's new postings? Surely there was something.
My hosting company decided to migrate us to a new server, I was warned that it was coming but not that it would screw up a load of my code (they changed the path structure of the webroot). I think that it's all working again now, take a look round and if you see anything wrong please drop me a line...

Just rewritten the ITUK stats page, it now takes its data much more closely from the database and doesn't
include unlicensed members. If your licence has run out you're ruining our apparent size. Get it renewed and
get the membership numbers up!!

The forum has gone live and with a smashing opening topic!! It will certainly need some tuning so I may have to
take time for outages from time to time at first, but it's looking good. I recorded about 600 page hits for yesterday
and the hosting log recorded just over 1300, but it counts other stuff as well.
If everybody who visited had added a comment it'd have been stodged by now.
I've added a few extra bits to the copyright page that needed updating as well.
I will be giving the member and instructor pages a going over soon so that they use the same login as the
forum. I'll have to give some thought as to the content whilst I'm at it.

The results table database has been populated up to date for a week or so now, I'll be adding to it after the next competition.
I've just added a new hit counter page, there's a link to it in the 'Site information' section over there on the left.
It gives some stats of total hits and unique hits by day and by month.
I've been pretty busy constructing a forum, I'll be asking for beta testers soon.

At last, the site is hosted properly! No more redirected frames.
There is a little tidying up to do but it is essentially complete. All in an evening's work, after training to boot!

Got to thinking about the javascript that Ian suggested for the links (below). Realised that it could help
reduce my spam count. I've rewritten the email links using some JS, and have removed the source to be an external file
so that email addresses can't be trawled as easily (I hope). It seems to work. If you want a copy of the source please ask.

http://www.mozilla.org/ and download yourself a copy of Mozilla.

Has anybody noticed the annoying adverts that have started popping up on the guestbook? I am working on it and plan to write
my own. In the meantime I apologise for the irritation.
Updated the links page a little. I've tidied up the descriptions etc.

Been waiting for my helpers to submit copy for a month and a half now, it must be time to write again!
The 'Philosophy' page has had a review. Also I have added some information for the 'Origins' page. I have
included a very brief history and added a link to one of the most comprehensive dissertations on TKD history
that I have been able to find. It has been updated since I last linked to it and contains much more material
than before. It is a right rivettin' read.
I have also completed the guide to the constitution.

Added a page of my rants and raves. It's my forum for explaining why some things are the way they are.
The constitution page is now well under way, I'll try to get it completed over the next few nights.

Clubs training times updated, there are a few that I don't know so will have to wait.
Member's area is improved a little, it now has the 'work in progress' section mapped out
ready for some details to start emerging.

The site is taking shape, it's online, although not straight from 'theITUK.com'. All of the links now work,
and there are a few words for each page, funny though, after the request for words the world seemed a quiet
place ....
The clubs page is almost complete, I just need to get all of the pictures and correctly update the training
times and maps.

Complete site redesign. The site is now fully HTML compliant, hoorah!
At last, some pages have been delegated so you won't be waiting for me
to think up new content. All being well the links page will become a proper
reference to other sites related to martial arts and other things that are of interest.
I am also hopeful to have a regulary updated News page, if only I can get somebody to write it for me.
